Precautions

  1. Treat every tornado as loaded and armed with pellets.
    • Protect your eyes from pellets or burst disc particles.
    • Disarm your grenade by removing the valve cover before entering a “safe” area.
  2. Do not listen for leaks when trouble- shooting your tornado. Drip water onto areas of suspected leaks to make them visible. A dd configured tornado emits a 120db blast (at 3’ distance). Protect your ears accordingly.
  3. Do not modify your tornado or dd kit.

Distraction Device Kit

Included in the Airsoft Innovations Tornado Grenade Distraction Device conversion kit is everything you need to convert your Tornado grenade from a pellet dispersion device to a noise-making distraction device.

  1. Insert Burst Ring Insert burst ring into bottom of grenade. The o-ring should be placed towards the valve cover. Lightly press fit the burst ring into the valve body opening.
  2. Remove Safety Plug Remove the over-pressure plug by pressing it out of the valve cover of your Tornado grenade. Keep the plug so you can configure your Tor- nado back to frag mode.
  3. Clean Valve Cover Wipe away any oil residue off of the inside of the valve cover with a clean tissue.
  4. Apply Burst Disk
    1. Stick burst disk evenly to inside of valve cover.
    2. Press bubbles out to ensure a proper seal
  5. Rearm Tornado Grenade Rearm your grenade by replacing the valve cover. Do not load bbs. Your grenade will perform as normal, but will emit a loud bang instead of scattering pellets. Replace the burst disk with each use. Replace- ment disks can be ordered from www.GunGas. com or your favorite retailer.
